illumia®plus – Labsphere Improves illumia® Light Measurement Systems

Each base system includes a choice of integrating spheres in sizes up to 3m and a wide range of spectrometers to meet specific applications.  The newly redesigned spheres allow for tool-less switching between base-up and base-down measurement geometries and hot-swapping of stabilized lamps.  Coupled with the software’s automated calibration and IESNA LM-79 stabilization routines, customers can significantly decrease the length of time for each measurement and increase throughput.

Labsphere’s Global Product Manager for Light Measurement, Vikrant Mahajan, commented that “The illumia®plus systems are designed to meet the requests we hear for modular solutions that grow with changing business needs. From R&D to the production line, the industry asks for light measurement solutions that are fast, accurate, repeatable, and flexible. The solutions also need to provide strong data management capabilities and global access. Illumia®plus meets these needs and gives users confidence that the systems they use will maximize efficiency, shorten product development time, and help differentiate their lighting products within the market.”
