Samsung Introduces Linear-type LED Modules with Industry-leading Efficacy and Greater Freedom of Design

The S-Series is comprised of two modules of either the long or short type ─ 560 x 24 x 6 mm for T-S562 (2250 lm @ 4000 K CCT, tp = 50°C) and 280 x 24 x 6 mm for LT-S282 (1125 lm @ 4000 K CCT, tp = 50°C). In the series, there are four options that supply different solutions ‒ each has SELV (separated or safety extra-low voltage) features, high voltage, and a compatible solution with Ledil’s lens. In addition, easy connectivity through either of two wiring alternatives is able to satisfy a variety of market needs. Lighting manufacturers can easily connect their fixtures with a re-workable poke-in connector that streamlines fixture assembly process wiring either from the front or the back.

Options for different solutions:

L-Type

Samsung now provides worldwide certification support to its LED lighting component customers. Since January, the company has established cooperative relationships with certification companies such as Intertek, Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), TÜV SÜD and the China Certification & Inspection Group Korea (CCIC KOREA) for the US, Korean, European and Chinese markets, respectively. These Samsung partnerships will help to minimize any difficulties that customers could encounter with varying regional certification requirements for lighting quality, safety and power efficiency, as well as simplify complex procedures, reduce time-to-market and ultimately have a positive impact on overall cost.
